Freelance status: BULSTAT registration without a company

Consultants, programmers, translators, designers and creatives can work legally without a company — as freelancers registered as persons practising a liberal profession (self-insured persons). BULSTAT registration takes 1–3 days, and the tax regime is the lightest in Bulgaria.
